Pacemaker Services

We provide pacemaker insertion and follow up services for pacemakers. If the conduction system of the heart is not working properly a pacemaker can be implanted to correct this problem. A pacemaker includes a small battery (generator) in an enclosed case that is implanted underneath the skin in the upper chest. Attached to the generator are electrical leads that deliver the necessary impulses to the heart. Following the implant, the patient will be seen in the office at regular intervals. Non-surgical adjustments can be made in the office that optimize the performance and preserve the battery life of the pacemaker.
