High Blood Pressure
The natural force created when your heart pumps blood into your blood vessels is called blood pressure. Sometimes, your vessels can become narrow, causing the pressure within the vessel to rise and your heart to work harder to pump blood through your body. Over time, this high blood pressure can lead to serious long-term (and even life-threatening) health concerns.
Lower Your Blood Pressure
- Cut down on salty foods and use less table salt
- Exercise
- Stop smoking
- Eat healthy foods
