Joan Cundey

Joan Cundey is the wife of Dr. David Cundey. They have worked together in Cardiology since 1974. Joan is a registered cardiovascular and echo/vascular technologist with 16 years of experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab, and 25 years of experience in Echocardiography. She also performs vascular ultrasound and nuclear cardiology procedures. Joan received her imaging training at the Medial College of Georgia in Augusta.

While Joan and Dr. Cundey lived in Augusta, she was hospital-based in her work. When they moved the practice to Aiken in 1991, Joan began managing the office as well as performing all the diagnostic testing. The practice first expanded in 1997 with the addition of our first partner, Dr. Arthur. Since that time Joan's clinical duties were relinquished to devote full attention to the administration of the practice.
