Joan Cundey

Joan is the wife of Dr. David Cundey. They have worked together in Cardiology since 1974. She is a registered cardiovascular and echo/vascular technologist with many years of experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab, echo/vascular ultrasound and nuclear cardiology. Joan originally received her imaging training at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

Joan's work was hospital-based while they were living in Augusta. When the practice moved to Aiken in 1991, she began managing the office as well as performing the diagnostic testing. The Aiken practice first expanded in 1997 with the addition of Dr. Arthur. Since that time Joan has relinquished clinical duties to devote full attention to the administration of the practice.

Joan is a long-standing member of MGMA, and is involved with local and state medical management groups. She is board certified as a Medical Practice Executive.
